Overview
Begin your journey in the archaeological site beneath the Trevi Fountain, so called Vicus Caprarius. During the walk in there you’ll walk close to the ancient structures of an imperial imperial domus, the castellum aquae of the Virgin Aqueduct and you’ll see the evocative exhibits finds discovered during the renovation of the former Cinema Trevi.
Then, after a nice and short walk in the historic center of Rome, you’ll descend in the Capuchin Crypt, a unique site decorated with 4000 bones of thousands of Capuchin friars, created by an unknown artist who masterfully transformed them into architectural elements, combining them in such a way as to recall shapes and elements linked to the afterlife.
On this journey backward in time, it is possible to touch Rome’s millennial stratification and observe the most hidden secret parts that characterized the city’s history.

Reviews From People Who Were

“The tour was amazing. We were a small group of 6 and the guide was able to answer all of our questions. We would not have found either of the locations without having the tour. Our guide provided very detailed information about both locations and even took us to a “secret” location to show us some of the ancient aqueduct. I would highly recommend this tour.”
